When plagiarism is clever

I have to admit, I like the Aldi ads. I like them because they are witty, they make me laugh. This ad was just clever. Not only a price comparison with John Lewis products, namely telescopes, but a funny ad at that. No more discomfort seeing an old man spying on a child but an older woman at that. And what more would a lonely old man on the moon want for Christmas, but a companion.
